Scholarship Details
As of 2015, these scholarships now support Colorado and Geauga
County, Ohio high school students who have earned a high
school GPA of 2.5, are in need of financial assistance for college,
university, or technical school, and who capture Kit's essence by
demonstrating a positive attitude, strong commitment, and a drive
            towards accomplishment.
Three scholarships will be awarded to support graduating
Colorado high school students, and one of those scholarships
will be specifically designated for a graduating senior from a Montrose
County, Colorado high school due to the generosity of that
community during our fundraisers there over the past several years.

Additionally, a 4th scholarship will be offered to a graduating high
school senior from a Geauga County, Ohio high school.

Available for the 2025-2026 school year, the scholarships may be
used for any accredited two or four year college, university, or
technical school. Scholarship money may be used for tuition, books,
lab fees, or other costs directly related to the degree program. The
scholarship recipients will receive an award of $6,000 for two
years, for a total of $12,000.
The scholarship payments will be made directly to the school on the
students' behalves at the start of each semester/quarter for the
first two years. In order to maintain the scholarship, the
recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA throughout the first two
years of the educational program. Recipients must submit grades
along with a personal written assessment of accomplishments to the
Kit Faragher Foundation at the end of each semester/quarter for
            their first two years.
